We include this textbook because it does such a good job integrated the experiences of women into the narrative. There is a wonderful, full chapter on the varied roles and position of women plus their inclusion in other chapters when appropriate. The book also uses topics studied in this period to raise questions about the students own society today. Like any textbook, this includes questions and activities for each chapter. |
